WHAT SIZE AND LENGTH EXTENSION CORD CAN BE USED? The system's blower and light only uses 7.6 amps total. (the standard household plug is 15 amps)  The cord size on the unit is 25 ft -12/3. The maximum total length recommended is 175 feet with a minimum 12/3 size cord.  A size 12/3 exterior rated cord is recommended and can be plugged into a standard household receptacle.
